The School of Insurance offers two undergraduate programs, Insurance Program and Actuarial Science Program. Insurance is a provincial-level program with special features, under construction of National first-class undergraduate major, aiming at cultivating undergraduates of applied type with sense of social responsibility and creditability, the global vision, solid basic knowledge of economics and finance, as well as fully developed in their moral integrity, intelligence, physical well-being and their aesthetic consciousness. The Actuarial Science Program is one of the second batch in our country, and currently the only one among all universities in Shandong Province, under construction of Shandong first-class undergraduate major.

The School of Insurance offers two Academic-type master’s degrees of Risk Management and Actuary, Insurance, and one professional-type master degree of Insurance, which is covered by the doctoral program of applied economics, and has an enrollment of 84 graduates. There are 21 master supervisors on campus and 67 off campus. The School of Insurance has actively promoted the reform of postgraduate training mode, ranging from educational innovative plan to curriculum system construction, aiming to improve the academic level of postgraduate students.
