The School of Insurance is committed to creating favorable academic atmosphere by disciplines integration and innovation, improving the academic level of faculty by holding the “Insurance Academic Lecture Hall” and “Elite Lecture Hall in the Insurance Industry”. The school teams have achieved excellent research results in many areas, like pension and social security, life contingencies and insurance theory, including 1 major, 2 youth and 5 general programs sponsored by National Social Science Foundation, 3 youth and 2 face programs sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation and over 30 provincial programs. Over 200 high-leveled research papers, such as Economic Research Journal, Journal of Management World, Journal of Financial Research, Value in Health, Land Use Policy, European Journal of Operational Research, Insurance: Mathematics and Economics, ASTIN Bulletin and over 10 academic monographs were published.
